Ms. Edna Rose Ashton, age 97, of Glassport, passed away Tuesday morning, February 18, 2020, at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
She was born November 30, 1922 in Glassport , PA. She is the daughter of the late James Aloysius Ashton and Julia Elizabeth Goshio of Glassport, PA.
She was a member of Catholic Church, Queen of the Rosary in Glassport, PA. She enjoyed reading mystery books, watching Downton Abbey, Joepardy and LOVED Landon's breakfast sandwich and Chik Fil A chicken sandwich with gluten free buns.
Edna is survived by her brother Phillip Ashton of South Bend-IN (Mary) and their children, her nephew David Ashton (Brad) of Salem-MA, her sister in law Marleen Ashton of West Alexander-PA and her niece in law Norma Ashton of Los Angeles - CA. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Creamation will be done by Pierce Brothers Funeral home. A celebration of her life will be held at Norma Ashton's residence in Beverly Hills - CA. Date and time will be determined.
