No Monday morning post his morning. I refer readers to my Saturday post on the Supreme Court decision which is listed on the blog roll just below this one. 

At the blog Accidental Beatitude, Holly Taylor Coolman has some good thoughts on what Catholics should do in the wake of the Supreme Court decision. A cool head and a smart brain and a large heart, working together. Coolman is a treasure. 

At Time magazine, Mark Oppenheimer shows how NOT to be a graceful winner. He thinks that churches should lose their tax exempt status. So, sir, will you be taking care of the poor? 

In another bizarre reaction to the Supreme Court ruling, Katherine Franke at Slate worries that the ruling's focus on "dignity" might some day be extended to the unborn - heaven forfend! So, she is tempering her enthusiasm. I hope her worries are self-fulfilling. 

And, lastly, today is the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul. Special prayers for Archbishops Cupich and Wester as they attend the pallium Mass in Rome. And, it is also the birthday of Cardinal Sean O'Malley. This one's for you Cardinal Sean:
