On Friday, the Catholic Mobilizing Network hosts a conference on Restorative Justice. The Institute for Policy Research & Catholic Studies, where I am a visiting fellow, is helping to sponsor this event. Last year, I attended one of CMN's conference's and I was blown away by the powerful witness and analysis offered by the various speakers. I strongly urge anyone in the DC area to come to this important event.
And, if you are out near Notre Dame, their law school is hosting an important conference on religious liberty this Thursday and Friday. Bishop Daniel Flores of Brownsville is giving one of the main speeches.
