Franciscan Action Network, Muslim leaders in joint statement

The Franciscan Action Network and Muslim leaders recently released a joint statement condemning "vitriolic hate speech, attitudes and actions against Muslims" as well as "acts of hatred and violence committed by any group against another."

The statement pledged solidarity between Christians and Muslims and appealed "to our government to generously welcome refugees from Syria and Iraq fleeing Daesh violence."
