Wilfrid Sheed, author, died this week

As I was driving home from the store I heard the news of author Wilfrid "Bill" Sheed's death at 80 this week.

His parents, Frank Sheed and Mary "Maisie" Ward founded the Catholic publishing house Sheed & Ward. NPR's memorial to his life is worth a listen.
