NCR executive editor Heidi Schlumpf has joined Season 7 of "The Francis Effect" podcast. She joins co-hosts Franciscan Fr. Dan Horan (columnist for NCR's "Faith Seeking Understanding") and David Dault, executive producer and host of "Things Not Seen: Conversations about Culture and Faith."
Horan, Schlumpf and Dault recorded this episode 19 days out from the 2020 presidential election. They discuss voters and the significance of the "Catholic" qualifier in polling; the foiled plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer; and Pope Francis' latest encyclical Fratelli Tutti.
